MY APPROACH

As a psychologist, I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining my psychodynamic background with acceptance commitment therapy, mindfulness techniques and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) when needed. Through an integrative model and a strong client-centered approach, I tailor each person’s treatment to their individual needs and goals. In my practice, I also aim to help clients foster a deeper understanding and awareness of past and current relational patterns as well as gaining new perspectives on their life stressors.

I strive to create a warm, trusting and supportive environment, which I believe is essential to the healing process. I work collaboratively with clients to address their emotional distress and help them achieve self-growth and the changes they are looking for.

Through my professional training and personal experiences, I have gained a better understanding on how everyone is unique and relates to therapy differently; therefore I believe cultural sensitivity is key to develop an effective treatment approach. Working with diverse population on a wide range of issues has been an invaluable clinical and personal experience.
